(Nie)boszczyk mąż by Joanna Chmielewska
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Read carefully!

Chmielewska is a classic Polish detective autor for me. Why do I rate she so high? Frankness, originality, unique sense of humor, as well as skillful depiction of human weaknesses and strengths.
She manages to organize the "confront" for such characters so perfectly!

This work is no exception to the rule.
I advise you to take a read and make sure that this happened here.

In the story we are dealing with a variety of figures (which are very clearly described), but comes to the fore a duo of Wolski.

Marina is a typical housewife who did not finish university, sat at home all day. She don't sinned sham intelligence.

True, she has a culinary talent. Being a "dame" without big ambitions, married she at the time to Carol - a sort of financial "shark" of construction business. This subject requires boundless praise and perfectly cooked meal for dinner to himself. Everything kept to the beaten track, and then, after a few years of marriage, suddenly the words of her husband takes off an unpleasant word: DIVORCE!

Marina is in shock, and now realized that she can get the key of the street so quickly, besides, out of money, and then ... she begins to act ...

And how had she found it all! ... Where was her mediocrity! She starts spinning intrigues that are "truly damning" ...

And this is not a classic detective novel, this is an another story...

Actions are described precisely and smoothly. Chmielewska conveys the story perfectly of which come out the nature of the all persons.

The story painted beautifully with the typical ironic humor that is present in every work of the writer. Just that is a strong place of Joanna: Easy and fun style!
And here comes a love story extra.

This novel can not get bored, I red, laughed, representing some of these comic scenes. I suddenly thought now, and that's work is a fine material for theatrical productions.

Summary: I recommend it! Especially for young people!
Lively ironic opposition of human weaknesses, in my opinion, brings theirs own character very good.
The main thing is to incite myself at first on an ironic manner.

My polish status

Today I will tell you a little about my Polish preferences.
 
I have never studied the Polish language, but lived on the Belarusian-Polish border.

We were young then. I'm interested in music and worked as a disc jockey in one of the youth clubs. To attract new customers, we would like to always have the newest dance music. Then we had only one way to keep up with the times. Every night from Friday to Saturday we were sitting at the console of FM receiver. We listened to the music news from the polish RMF FM radio channel and recorded this on the tape. Finally, on Saturdays the latest dance hits were playing at our club.

Radio reports and commentaries of music journalist Bogdan Fabianski were always fun and we listened to him alive in spite of the foreign language. After these weekly training in listening to the radio we gradually came to understand the Polish language.

Many years have passed and I decided to make sure that I understand Polish, at least a little. It turned out that something is remembered.  I decided to work a little with the Polish, and now I will not want it to forget. I will concentrate on reading books, listening to audio books or watching movies.

My first review by the english reading

April in Moscow by Stephen Rabley
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Now I'm learning english. It reachs with the at the call "Learn through reading or die". I have the collection of english books from the set of "Penguin Reader". I'm beginning with the level 0 (Graded Readers -> Easystarts with 200 headwords).

This was my first book in this set. I find it good. The book is good readable, I was no problems with this word lexicon.

I recommend it for any readers, there begin with the english books.

German learning: My main focus

I begin to say about the German. I live in Germany and have a work.
The work language is German. I'm sure of my speak activity.
My impoving goal in German is the perfective of my audition ability.
For that I will listen audio podcasts, broadcasting, or watch any video clips or films.
Possibly I can read also any interesting books or internet articles.

Generally, my speaking activities are performed at the work successfully.
I don't calculate these activities here.

I will use a specific algorythm where can calculate my progress.

I may use various types of media. I took the basis values from the Tadoku reading challenge strategy.
Each medium and learning method has different points (points = Tadoku pages) per page value associated with it. The following list shows the viable mediums with its twitter tags, small description and equal point values (abbr.: ppp - points per page, ppl - points per lyrics, ppm - points per minute).

#readbook : reading of a book: 1 ppp
#readarticle : reading of an article or the news in internet, magazines or newspapers: 1 ppp (for ca. 1500 symbols)
#writeessay : writing of the text, essay, letter etc.: 1 ppp (for ca. 400 symbols)
#listenreadlyric : listen a song and reading of the lyric: 1 ppl (point per lyrics for whole song)
#talkspeaker : talking with native speaker with language exchange: 0,3 ppm (points per minute)
#listenaudio : listening of audiobooks, podcasts, broadcasts: 0,2 ppm
#watchvideo : watching a tv program, video or film: 0,1 ppm
#learnanki : training of the words and phrases with anki srs: 0,05 ppm
#learntextbook : learning a language with the textbook (all tasks): 0,05 ppm

The sum of these points shows my complete progress by the learning.

My goal is: to reach 600 points!

How do I learn the foreign languages: My current levels:
- Russian: Native language
- Belarussian: Secondary native language
- German: Advanced fluency
- Polish: Upper-intermediate
- English: Pre-intermediate
- Danish: Starter
- Italian: Starter

There are my main goals for 2013:

1) to keep my level in German and Polish
2) to impove my English
3) to begin to learn of Danish and Italian

This summer (by learning of the Polish) I was confronted with the difficulties where ​​I started to lose the current levels by other languages. I came to the conclusion that it's necessary to promote several languages ​​at the same time.

I took as a basis the challenge strategies Takedo and 6WC.
I adjusted the Takedo calculation method of Takedo to meet my requirements, It can quantify the progress level and degree of goal achievement. Now I will consider generally three languages (German, Polish, English) and try to begin with Danish and Italian.

Hi everybody!

My name is Yauheni. I'm a fun of the foreign languages. I'm really enjoying by the learning process.

I live in Europe and I will to understand not only my neighborhood but also the people from the other lands.

I began with the German. It was my first foreign language. I will go on by this way.

Here I will post my successes and challenges in the learning process.

I would be happy if there will be any readers who can criticize or encourage me in this cause.

Just today I set myself any goals. I tell you about in the next post.
